Brome is one of the most popular forage grasses that is readily used across the Prairies. It is often consumed as a blend component and has the versatility to be used for hay or pasture. There are three types of brome that are readily used across the Prairies: smooth bromegrass, meadow bromegrass, and hybrid bromegrass.
