BrettYoung™ Announces New Warehouse Expansion

BrettYoung™ is expanding warehouse capacity at its Winnipeg, MB facility. This facility is a key distribution centre and primary seed processing, seed treating and packaging complex for wholesale, ag retail, professional turf and consumer channels. It is also home to an accredited seed laboratory that upholds quality and purity standards.

The new 35,000 square foot warehouse construction will start in the fall of 2026, with its added capacity scheduled to come online in the summer of 2027. The additional storage capacity will bring the under-roof footprint at its Winnipeg location to 400,000 square feet at completion.

BrettYoung’s growth trajectory is driven by strong customer demand and a focus on operational excellence. This warehouse expansion ensures the company’s infrastructure keeps pace with its increasing production volumes and future growth plans.

According to COO, Cory Baseraba, “the additional capacity will enable faster order fulfillment, and enhanced responsiveness to customer needs, while creating opportunities for continued operational improvement. This will also provide a benefit to our seed grower partners by improving our ability to receive seed deliveries.”
