Wayne Unger
Wayne is on BrettYoung’s Board of Directors, sitting in the position since the beginning of 2023 when he retired as Vice President of Forage & Turf. He has a degree in Agricultural Mechanics from Fairview College and a master’s in business administration from the University of Guelph. Before BrettYoung, Wayne worked as a machine operator, farm manager, general manager, and independent grain farmer. He was President of Seeds Canada in 2010-2011 and sat on the Board of Directors for numerous years and was a Canadian representative on the Forage and Turf Committee of International Seed Federation. Wayne’s firsthand experience in the industry is instrumental in the board’s success. In his free time, Wayne likes golfing, travelling, cooking, and spending time at the cottage. He and his wife have four children and are avid pet lovers with two dogs of their own.
