Joel has been Vice President of BrettYoung’s Seed Solutions unit since early 2023 but has been with us since 2000 when he started as a Seed Production Specialist. Joel graduated from the University of Manitoba’s agriculture program just before he started with BrettYoung, spending his entire career with us thus far. He’s sat on the Seeds Canada Forage Committee and the Northern Seed Trade Association’s executive committee, serving as President for both organizations at one time. Joel loves the relationships he’s built with customers and vendors of BrettYoung and says his team has given him the tools to build those relationships. When he’s not at work, you can find Joel spending time with his wife or mowing the lawn on their acreage, one of the most relaxing things he does.
