Calvin is the Executive Chairman of the BrettYoung board of directors. He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary, a Master of Science in plant breeding from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Bachelor of Science in plant science from Brandon University. From 2009 to 2023, Calvin was BrettYoung’s CEO, and before that, CEO/President of Philom Bios Inc./Novozymes BioAg. Calvin has sat on numerous boards in the plant science industry and when not at the BrettYoung office, you’ll find Calvin golfing, fishing, or taking in a Winnipeg Jets game with his wife and two children.
