Spyder is a low dormancy alfalfa selected for its creeping rooted trait, superior winterhardiness and improved disease resistance. It is a synthetic variety selected from a cross of a spreader type alfalfa with an elite yielding variety. Forage yield potential is consistently better than most creeping rooted varieties  in the market.
